Now for sale online are our LightForm mylar luminaires! The system was developed by PROJECTiONE over the last couple of years and is now in full production. Each lamp is crafted utilizing parametric digital software, CNC hardware, and hand assembly. We developed a definition in Grasshopper, a plugin for Rhinoceros, that can produce all the cut files necessary to create each lamp by only using one input, the lamp’s desired profile curve. This allows us to produce a large number of shapes and sizes from the same joinery system, which reduces the cost of custom and increases design possibilities. The parts are laser-cut from white mylar, an extremely durable and flexible material, and assembled onto a laser-cut clear acrylic frame. Color is applied by laser printing on the mylar prior to cutting, allowing for solid colors and fades between two colors.

Below is the LightForm collection in production. Each lamp comes fully assembled and ready to plug in. Included is a UL-listed cord set with your choice of “ceiling hard-wire” or “wall outlet plug” cord type. You can also choose to replace the cord with a white floor or table lamp base. (seen at the bottom of the page) All sockets accept standard medium base bulbs.

We are offering a wide range of shapes, sizes, and colors, perfect for hanging in the dinning room, sitting on your side table, or just about anywhere you can come up with.    - For no color, leave color choices blank
   - For solid color, choose Color 1 and leave Color 2 blank
   - For a color fade, choose top color as Color 1 and bottom color as Color 2
